Do you do commercial fire inspections?

Yes we do! We are licensed to inspect your fire systems and can conduct inspections you can turn into the city.

Do I have to sign up for monitoring?

Accepted Answer

If you plan on getting a security system yes. If you plan on only getting a camera system then no. Monitoring does not apply to cameras unless you sign up for video monitoring which is not required.

Question 4

I already have a Nest thermostat, will I need a new one?

Accepted Answer

No. We can link your Nest thermostat to your home automation app no problem.

If my internet goes out, or I can no longer see my cameras, do they stop recording?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Even if your cameras do not appear on your app as long as there is still power and they are still functioning they will continue recording.

What is monitoring and what does it do?

When we say your system is being monitored that means that there are people actively watching your system in case any alarms get set off. We have a monitoring station that is active 365 days 24/7 so that no matter the time or place if your alarm goes off, you will be notified. For example, if you arm your alarm and someone breaks into your house while you're on vacation, our monitoring system would see that alarm, call you and if you did not answer, automatically dispatch the police. If you answered telling them it was a false alarm because your house sitter forgot to disarm the alarm before entering, then they would not dispatch the police per your request. We monitor security and fire systems.

How does your contract work?

We do not have any fees to sign up. Our contract is valid until you decide to cancel, you can cancel whenever, wherever, no fuss no fees. That is the same for business contracts and residential contracts.

Question 8

I have multiple family members who want to be able to access our home automation, how would that work?

Accepted Answer

Any number of people can have the app and log in, if you have kids they can have the app in case they forgot to close the garage or lock the door before they leave. Even your parents can have the app in case they come to visit and need to have access to the system.
